The Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown is currently recruiting for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager! In this role, you will:
- Provide personalized and exceptional guest service at every opportunity, ensuring guest expectations are exceeded throughout the food and beverage experience
- Direct, delegate, and coordinate the banquets and food and beverage outlets’ daily business activities and team members
- Ensure all event details and function specifications are executed in accordance with the client’s expectations
- Manage food and beverage inventories, maintain par levels, and provide requisitions and for products and supplies
- Facilitate regular meetings with team members and food and beverage leadership
- Maximize revenues while maintaining a high standard of service and positive guest experience
- Coach, motivate, and train team members on a continual basis
What You Bring to the Table
- 3-5 years of previous food and beverage experience at a supervisor or assistant manager level, preferably in a full-service hotel environment
- Post-secondary education in food and beverage or hospitality management is preferred
- A hands-on management approach and the ability to be present during all peak business periods
- Experience in banquets, catering, and meetings
- Proven track record of food and beverage cost controls
- In depth knowledge of inventory management
- Ability to work a variety of shifts based on business needs
